Common sense is about more than banking. It’s about putting interaction before transaction. Being friendly and staying sincere isn’t just how we do business, it’s who we are. It’s part of our Common Sense Philosophy, and keeps us connected to our community – big or small – on a personal level.

That’s why as a bank, and as individuals, we put aside time and money to help out. Here are a few things we do.

We help people learn.

We believe in the importance of collaborating with, and learning from, organizations that help provide educational programs to people of all ages. Whether it’s through local school districts, or programs that support financial literacy, we are dedicated to collaborating with community partners on education initiatives.

We help people find work.

We are dedicated to helping those who want to work get the jobs they are looking for. Not only do we hire a diverse range of local talent, but we volunteer for and support organizations that help people get back on their feet and move forward with their plans.

We help people find affordable housing.

Without affordable housing it’s hard for people to get back on their feet and find the jobs they are looking for. That’s why, in addition to providing financing for individual homes and developments, we also support organizations that provide quality low-income housing.

We’re bringing more to the table than just better financial well-being. We’re building stronger communities and taking banking to a whole new level. And, when it comes to community, we’re all in.  It’s common sense, the way banking was intended to be.
